What do your packages include?

Senior Fun Session

$150

One or two outfits changes

This 45-minute session takes place here in Reston, Virginia, where we have access to miles of woodland areas and cool trails.

Senior Walkabout Session

$300

Two to four outfits changes
Includes a color-corrected online gallery
In-person consultation and viewing of your images
48 wallet size images
$100 product credit towards prints, album or cards
Your own iPhone/iPad app with up to 30 photos to share

This two-hour session takes place in multiple settings within walking distance at one location within a 45 mile drive of Reston, Virginia. You can change clothes, bring props and just be you!

Senior Experience Session

$600

Unlimited outfits
Includes a color-corrected online gallery
In-person consultation and viewing of your images
72 wallet size images
$300 product credit towards prints, album or cards
Your own iPhone/iPad app with up to 40 photos to share

This three-hour session allows you to split your time between two locations of your choosing (within a 20 mile drive of each other). You get to do lots of different looks and it allows you to have great creative options to show off your interests and hobbies. These usually take place at location of your choosing within a 45-mile drive of Reston.

Frequently Asked Questions

I want Vita Images to photograph my portrait! How do I book you?

Call us at 703-915-2745 or email us at info@vitaimages.com! We will need to coordinate a date for the shoot. Our weekend dates fill quickly in the spring or fall, so don’t wait to get in touch. To hold your session, you will need to select one of packages or have a custom package created for you, sign the contract, and pay session fee. All of this can be done through our easy online booking system – no stamps or driving required

Can you shoot my yearbook photo too?

Sometime the school photo just didn’t look right or you missed the make-up date. We can schedule a 30-minute yearbook only session. We have drapes/tux to do formal yearbook photos. These take place either indoors at our Reston studio, or on location as a part of a session package for an additional $75 charge.)

Where should we go?

Most of our seniors like to do what we call the Walkabout session. We pick a location and then walk from place to place taking portraits as we go.

We can find lots of cool spots to take pictures that way! Some of our favorite locations are Margaret’s Garden, Reston Town Center, Lake Audubon, Reston Trails, Meadowlark Gardens, Lake Fairfax Park, Frying Pan Park, Lake Anne, downtown Herndon or Vienna….. even your own backyard.

It’s really up to you and your parents. If you want to choose more than one location, that’s fine, too. There is a $25 location fee for each additional location you choose (a location is defined as a place you have to drive to)

Can I bring a parent or friend along?

Feel free to bring a parent, friend or a sibling—it’s always nice to having someone come along to make you laugh and to help carry your stuff. We all about fun—we’ll keep things relaxed and laid back.

What can I do with my photos?

We also offer a variety of products ranging from albums, graduation invitations, and Thank You cards, as well photo jewelry. We can also make a cool slideshow of your photos set to music that you can show off to your friends on your iPhone or Facebook!

When should I schedule my session?

The earlier the better – especially if you’re going to order custom announcement cards. We prefer to start shooting during the summer or fall of your senior year, but can do a session anytime, even during the summer after graduation.

What should I wear and bring to my session?

Once you book a senior portrait session, you will get online access to our exclusive Senior Client Lounge with a ton of additional information on what to wear, make-up tips and more!

Do you provide the digital files or the DVD?

The color-corrected, high-resolution files are available for purchase after your session for an additional fee. We provide a release granting you permission to make all the prints your heart desires.

We also give a print credit with every package so you can buy a big print or a collection of prints.

Why?

You have best intentions to print photos or design an album from the files but instead you are out enjoying life – getting ready for graduation, picking what college you are going too, hanging with friends… just being a fun-loving teen! Your DVD gets put in a drawer and 3 years later – you have no photos on the walls.

How do we know? We hear it from countless teens and yes. We have done the same thing ourselves! We make sure every senior session has something tangible –prints or an album to show off how fabulous your family is.

After all – how else are those descendants of yours going to see how cool you were in the 21^st century!

Can we share our photos via social networking?

We provide a selection of watermarked photos on our blog and Vita Images Facebook page from your session that you can share with friends and family. Our seniors love to share their photos online!
